This policy covers all upzen apps and the upzen.co website. The short version: our apps collect nothing, the website at most counts anonymous visits, and the only personal detail we ever hold is an email address you choose to give us by joining our waitlist.

Apps

upzen apps do not collect, store, transmit, or process any of your data. There are no accounts, no sign-ups, no servers, no analytics, no advertising, and no third-party SDKs that track you. Everything you do in an upzen app stays on your device (and in your own iCloud, if you enable syncing — which only you and Apple can access, not us).

Because we collect nothing, there is nothing for us to sell, share, lose, or leak.

Website

upzen.co may use privacy-respecting, anonymous analytics to understand overall traffic — things like total page views and rough visitor counts. This involves no cookies, no personal information, no fingerprinting, and no tracking of you across other sites. That's the full extent of it.

The site is hosted on GitHub Pages, which may keep standard server logs (such as IP addresses) to operate the service; see GitHub's privacy statement.

Waitlist & email

If you enter your email address into a waitlist or sign-up form on upzen.co, we use it for one purpose: to email you occasional updates about upzen — most importantly, to let you know when a new tool launches. We ask for your email only when you choose to give it, and we will never sell, rent, or share your address.

Waitlist emails are stored and sent through Kit (formerly ConvertKit), our email provider, whose servers may be located outside Australia. By joining, you consent to your email being handled by Kit for this purpose; see Kit's privacy policy. Every email we send includes a one-click unsubscribe link, and you can ask us to delete your address at any time.

Changes

If any of this ever changes, we'll update this page and the date above.
